Rallye Sunseeker 2010

Since I can remember I have had a strong passion for Photography. I find this the perfect way to express my ‘artistic’ side, and feel that this gives me the opportunity to not only do something I enjoy but also to incorporate it in my busy schedule.

My photography takes many forms, but my main interest is Sports.

Football. Having played at a reasonable standard when I was younger, I love Football. Since retiring from playing, I have tried to keep an active interest in the sport in some way. I am a qualified Sports Masseuse and have worked at a local Non-League Conference team as a Masseuse and Physio with their Youth Team. Now I get to watch a game every week at different grounds and consider myself very lucky to be in a profession where I can enjoy the two things I love, Photography and Football.

American Football. American Football is an impact sport. There are a lot of times when not much is happening. However, when the action starts it is very explosive. This makes for fantastic photo opportunities. Besides from the impact, there is also a lot of skill involved. The relationship between the Quarterback and his Offensive players is crucial. They must want to do whatever is needed to get the score. Meanwhile the Defense are trying their best to stop them. The action is so exciting, capturing it is as exciting to me now.

Motor Sports. Like most people I love speed. Being in a fast car flying round a track or skidding around a rally course is so exhilarating. There is no feeling like watching the world go by in a blur. Capturing a car or bike at high speed is tricky, but when done correctly the results are stunning. Being able to photograph Sports is the most rewarding thing I have done. It is a way of incorporating my two favourite pastimes. It is also my way of being involved in the things I enjoy at a high standard without having to worry about my own abilities. I hope you enjoy my site and I look forward to seeing you back again soon.
